Modern Slavery Statement 2020
Dunstall Holdings Limited, through its subsidiaries Rea Valley Tractors Limited, RVT Commercial Vehicles Limited, Lift West Limited and Amvar Handling Solutions Limited and Amvar Storage & Workplace Solutions Limited, are principally engaged in the sale, servicing and repair of agricultural and commercial machinery along with the supply of materials handling equipment within the United Kingdom.
We respect the human rights of everyone who works for us and those who work on our behalf and via our supply chains. Dunstall Holdings has a zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking in all its business dealings and is committed to the prevention of slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We are committed to doing business the right way – acting honestly, fairly and with high levels of integrity.
These principals are embedded into our organisation and are evident in (but not limited to) our newly drafted, Group Human Resources (HR) policies.
We believe the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking is very low within the Dunstall Holding’s Group and therefore have decided it not necessary to undertake a risk assessment.
Training and Communication
All employees are expected to report any concerns as a matter of priority and these are to be investigated and reported on, with any actions identified being implemented with immediate effect. Employees that report any concerns are protected and will not be disciplined, regardless of the outcome of the investigation.
Actions during 2019
Recruitment – we have designed and launched a new hiring process to ensure best practice, increase the quality of hires and manage the process in-house, thus reducing risk via an external supply chain. Therefore, we have a robust, clear process and our Managers have been appropriately trained.
Employees – as a group, we generally don’t hire temporary or contract workers. Almost all our employees are permanent. This means we have a direct relationship with most of our workers and thus reducing further risk of slavery within the supply chain.
Data/Communications - We have implemented an on-line HR system which significantly improves the quality of the data we hold and allows us to communicate more effectively with our employees via policy updates or standardised communications.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 30 October 2019.
This statement was approved by the Board of Directors on 27 February 2020
